North Dakota conference will present education and demos on ancient grains

The Northern Crops Institute’s third annual Ancient Grains Conference is set for June 25 at the Peltier Complex on the campus of North Dakota State University in Fargo, N.D.
The program of informative presentations and hands-on demonstrations runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Topics include the following:
- Identity Preserved: Growing Crops with Premiums in the Market, Making it Work for the Grower and Broker
- Milling Demonstration
- Flavor Profile and New Uses Baking Demonstrations
- Sustainable Opportunities Panel and Industry Highlight Presentation
- Market Significance Presentation
- New Uses in Ancient Grains Presentation
Thie conference serves as a platform for experts, researchers, and industry professionals to come together, exchange insights, and foster collaborations aimed at promoting the cultivation, use and market growth of ancient grains, the Institute said in a news release.
